About Suntomine
Suntomine d.o.o. Brčko District is a fast-growing company operating across infrastructure
and energy-related projects with international scope. We are strengthening our finance
department and are looking for a highly reliable and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to
take ownership of core accounting operations, reporting discipline, and compliance.

Role Overview
This is a senior role requiring strong technical accounting knowledge, excellent
organization, and the ability to operate independently with minimal supervision.
As Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for accurate and timely accounting
operations, month-end closing, reporting discipline, and audit readiness. You will work
closely with management and external partners to ensure full financial transparency,
internal control, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
• Full-cycle accounting and bookkeeping (AP/AR, bank transactions, journal entries);
• Monthly annual closing activities (reconciliations, accruals, adjustments)
• Maintain general ledger accuracy and strict documentation discipline;
• Prepare internal financial reports and management summaries;
• Process invoices, purchase documentation, expense tracking, and approvals;
• Monitor cash flow and payment schedules;
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures, reporting rules, and audit
requirements;
• Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, and tax advisors;
• Maintain audit-ready documentation and support audits when required;
• Support improvements in internal finance processes, reporting, and controls.

Mandatory Requirements
• Minimum 5+ years of accounting experience with senior-level responsibility;
• Proven experience in serious / structured companies is mandatory (corporate
environment, established controls, reporting discipline);
• Professional accounting certification/license is mandatory (e.g., ACCA / CPA or
equivalent recognized qualification);
• Strong knowledge of international accounting and reporting standards (IFRS);
• IFRS exposure is required (practical reporting / closing / audit readiness);
• SAP experience is required (FI / CO preferred);
• Strong Excel skills (advanced spreadsheets, reporting, reconciliations);
• High level of accuracy, reliability, confidentiality, and ownership;
• Excellent English proficiency — mandatory;
• TOEFL iBT 100+ is mandatory;
• Certificate is NOT required at the time of application;
• Candidate must be able to pass TOEFL iBT (100+) and provide proof upon request.

Preferred / Strong Advantage
• Experience with international operations and multi-currency transactions;
• Experience in budgeting, cost control, and management reporting;
• Strong audit readiness and compliance mindset;
• Process mindset (improving workflows, controls, reporting structure).

Additional Screening Note
• Do not apply if you do not hold ACCA/CPA (or equivalent) and do not have IFRS
exposure.
